You should always use it safely and healthily, meaning you should take breaks, drink lots of water, eat healthily, get 8-9 hours of sleep, and exercise - there are no free biological meals, you might take modafinil one day and feel exhausted the next day, so do your best to provide your body with the best circumstances to recover.
Not everything Modafinil makes you feel is good, be aware of that - if you force yourself to work chronically, you might find yourself burned out one day.
Modafinil can hurt social activities and cause side effects such as insomnia if abused - these can be mitigated if you lower the dosage!
